Odong is a noodle popular in the Visayas and Mindanao Region of the Philippines. It is packed in small packaging and looks like a spaghetti noodle but in yellow color and breaks easily when bent. Odong is best cooked in a soup dish with canned sardines in tomato sauce and some vegetables of choice.
Cooking odong is easy. One would only saute garlic and Onion, add a can of sardines and water. Let the water boil and add the Odong. When Odong is cooked add the vegetable of choice. Serve while hot. This is perfect for rainy days and cold weather.
