About Colgate Palmolive

Colgate Palmolive is a company founded by William Colgate in 1806 starting in the starch, soap, and candle business in New York City. B.J. Johnson Soap, on the other hand, introduced the Palmolive soap in 1898 and the two companies merged in 1928 forming the now known Colgate Palmolive. Today, the company has various brands from oral care, personal care, home care, and pet care.
